Ans- Timeliness acts as a challenge. Other than finding the right publication house which will publish your book. Other than these, promotion and marketing are major challenges. but once it reaches the right audience and has millions of readerships its all worth it.
- How has the rise of self-publishing and digital platforms impacted traditional publishing routes for authors?
Ans- I have started and I am writing for 8 to 10 years. I’ve been practicing writing and being an author I have realised that digital platforms really help. It has helped me a lot. In traditional publication or publishing there are many challenges like it is time consuming. It is cost efficient. While on a digital platform it’s easy as compared. I have started with one and it is continuing. So yes, digital platforms help to rise.
- What role does social media play in promoting an author’s work, and how can it be both an advantage and a challenge?
Ans- Social media gives a platform for the audience to comment openly, which also allows them to troll. What I prefer is keeping the audience limited. I chose a niche. I choose the right audience. So yes, the right audience makes positive comments which help you to grow.
- How do authors navigate issues of creative control and intellectual property in an era where content is easily shared and copied?
Ans- Authors do face a creative block. Creativity comes with a creative block. And the best way to deal with it is to believe in whatever you are writing. Yes definitely one should make sure to own what he has written so no one can steal it. But one can copy the content but not the original essence and idea of the author
- What challenges do authors encounter in terms of mental health and the pressure to constantly produce in a highly competitive industry?
Ans- Work regularly, keep calm, don’t doubt yourself. And one of the best ways is to connect with the community. Right people brings new opportunity and help you to bring the best out of you And talking about mental health is a topic which should not be taken lightly and talked seriously
- How has the global market and shifting reading preferences affected authors in terms of cultural relevance, language barriers, and audience reach?
Ans- There is a Russian writer who in one of his books wrote about . How cultural impact and cultural and reference leaves global impact In that the protagonist where he Stated a line that he has face so much in life If I see a frog plucking a fruit from tree I won’t be shock Other than the language is not a barrier, but the actual essence, emotion is lost when the content is translated to another language. Especially Hindi content it loses essence when it is translated to english.
- Suggest some books which can set good examples?
If I have to suggest a book. There is a book called Build, Don’t Talk by Raj Shamani. There is an American writer who wrote shoe dog: A Memoir by the Creator of Nike (Book by Phil Knight). It talks about how the Nike brand is promoted. How it built its legacy. If you want to see how a brand can be built, How can we grow in the market? It is the best book. Also other books like God of small things.
- How to deal with creative blocks?
I would say fight fire with Fire so I would say. Write at least 150 to 200 words. So later on when you read it either you will find that you have written a very good masterpiece or something rubbish, which you can automatically go through it and make necessary correction
