She always comes early to the school.
For all the students she has a rule.
To be disciplined is what she seeks.
From a student who always speaks.

Teaching is not an easy task,
In the ocean of wisdom in which we bask.
A Teacher makes us alive when we are dull. Moulding us like a beautiful pearl.

A pin drop silence is what she needs.
To impart knowledge she sows the seeds.
For if she finds anyone sleeping.
For the rest of the day he will be weeping.

Ever wondered what a teacher aspires
Ever realized what she admires.
A beautiful career is what she desires
For every student who perspires.

So when you meet a teacher any day.
Do greet her and say,
Mam you gave us a foundation so strong.
In Life’s journey we’ll build along
