“ Cracking Google: Abhishek Kumar’s Success Story of Consistency and Hard Work”

Abhishek Kumar, a native of Jamui district in Bihar, has secured a record-breaking salary package of Rs 2.07 crore from Google and is set to begin working at their London office in October. In a recent interview, Abhishek credited his success to the unwavering support and guidance of his parents and elder brother.

Expressing his excitement, he said, “I’ve received a Rs 2.07 crore offer from Google, and I’m thrilled to be moving to the beautiful city of London. This is a significant milestone in my career, and I look forward to taking on impactful roles in the future.”

Abhishek revealed that becoming a software engineer has always been his dream, and landing a position at a prestigious company like Google is a major achievement for any aspiring engineer. Reflecting on his interview process, he shared that balancing his job with interview preparations was challenging, as he had to find time to study after working 8–9 hours each day.

He highlighted the importance of consistency and strategy when preparing for job interviews, particularly in coding and behavioral assessments. “Maintaining discipline and thoroughly preparing for both technical and behavioral aspects were crucial to succeeding in the Google interview,” he explained.

Abhishek’s career journey includes a stint at Amazon from August 2022 to March 2023, followed by a role in the foreign investment trading unit of a German investment bank in May. He is now gearing up for his new position at Google in October.

When asked about his success, Abhishek emphasized that dedication and consistency are key to achieving any goal. He encouraged students from smaller towns to believe in their potential, stating, “With hard work and perseverance, anyone can achieve great things, no matter their background.”

Abhishek’s father, Indradev Yadav, is a lawyer at Jamui Civil Court, and his mother, Manju Devi, is a homemaker. He is the youngest of two brothers.
