Author Aaliya Shahreen gets Featured in Authors Conclave 2024

Introducing Aaliya Shahreen, a captivating author whose literary prowess shines through her book, “Love? Yet to be written.” Delving into the intricacies of human emotions, her work resonates with readers seeking profound narratives. Now, let’s explore her insights further with a questionnaire for the Authors Conclave:

1. Book Inspiration:
What inspired you to write “Love? Yet to be written.” and how did you approach weaving the narrative around the theme of love?

Ans. The book, and the inspiration is something that comes within and sometimes really hard to answer. But coming to this one I always wanted to write about the lost love, the love that we thought would stay but didn’t. To the people we wanted to stay but left, to all the relationships we built, broke.
As the book says, is it love now or it is yet to be written . What the title means is that sometimes the expectations of “love” we were living in couldn’t always be true and maybe somewhere there’s a better story of the love, we aren’t expecting is waiting.
Working on this narrative have not been the easiest part as sometimes thinking of how those two people in the story would have felt made me emotional too, but as writers, we weave words in form of a net, that must catch hold of human feelings.

2. Writing Process:
– Can you share your creative process, from ideation to completion, and any unique challenges you encountered during the writing of your book?
Ans. The most creative part of the book in itself is the story. I mean writing and conveying a story might be easier but depicting a story in form of a “poetry” was the most creative and challenging part in itself.
There were several times I couldn’t combine certain lines, times when I wanted to express more but I couldn’t exceed the word limits as poetries and phrases need to be precise yet expressible.

3. Character Development:
Your characters in the book are richly layered. How do you go about creating and developing characters that connect with readers on a deep emotional level?
Ans. The most authentic, the most connecting part about any character is it’s realness, the truthfulness it holds along with the flaws and weaknesses.
Idea of perfectionism is undoubtedly great, people would love to read or listen about someone who is absolutely perfect but they won’t connect to someone who is so perfect.
Perfection comes from practise but what humanity do you practise to be considered a perfect human being, none I guess.
All of us hold flaws, yet unique in our own ways and only when we are able to relate to someone we connect.

4. Literary Influences:
– Are there specific authors or literary works that have influenced your writing style or the themes you explore in your books?
Ans. Answering this is going to be like putting a list of amazing authors I’ve come across. There are endless number of writers I have adored and people who have inspired me to write.
Their way of writing, their way of expressing and ending stories is amazingly beautiful and they have left me in an awe thinking how I was living within the story.
I won’t be naming any popular author because they inspire almost everyone but certain brilliant authors I came across Wattpad when I started writing who gave me the courage to write are “Rua Hasan”, author of the book ‘Tyler’s Gem.’ The way she gotten me into the book and made me feel everything in the book is amazing, I read it years back and I still remember every single detail of the book because I connected so much, I felt like I was the main character.
Then the first book I read on Wattpad was ‘Someone Like Him’ by Nessa, I don’t if that’s her real name, but that’s her Wattpad account. I’ve read it a hundred times but every time I would read that specific part I still shed tears, it’s that well framed.
So many people write so well.

5. Impact and Engagement:
– How do you envision your book making an impact on readers, and how do you engage with your audience to foster a connection beyond the pages of your books?
Ans. The book has been written with an intention of letting people know that ‘some exits are meant to be, for some entries to be made.’
As people, as human it’s hard on letting go off someone but sometimes we are all so acceptable about someone else’s flaws that we start finding them within ourselves, which is where we lose ourselves in the process of loving.
But loving someone else isn’t equivalent to losing oneself and that is important to understand. Even though it’s going to be hard to make people understand what that one emotion we are all running after lunatics means, love has a deeper meaning and a wider understanding beyond what any of us would ever know.
Somewhere I will try to convey everything possible in my own way, about every other feeling we posses, rest my characters are going to do.
Thank you for such an interesting interview. I hope this will be convincing enough for reads to know what I write.
