Riddhima talks about the Tapestry of writing – and her wonderful painting skills

Riddhima is a young writer and she has proved her mettle by writing several books at a very tender age. Not only that she is an exceptional painter and represents several folklores via her painting . She is also going to be featured as the Keynote Speaker in the Rashtriya Lekhak Samman Exhibition. Let us know more about her in the International Author’s Conference Interview.

 

Q1) How does it feel to represent your works in the National Platform?

Ans – It’s a privilege to do so. It is a great platform to have the opportunity to interact with several talented authors and artists across the globe and get so much love and appreciation from them. This is indeed a good place to showcase your talent and love for your skills and individuals .

 

Q2) We know about our writing journey. Tell us about the start of your journey with colours and painting ?

Ans – Drawing has been my passion always, since the age of 5. However, l started participating in online exhibitions since class 11.

 

Q3) You are a student . How do you manage writing books, managing time for interview and also still contribute time for painting ?

Ans – l have made a time table, where everything is jotted down . An hour for writing, painting and interviews seems good enough. 

 

Q4) Are there any books you are planning to write next. If yes what are those books ?

Ans – Yes. I will be participating in an upcoming anthology “ Born to Thrive” , which explores a different perspective,  what if animals took the place of humans in the world.  I am yet to submit the manuscript soon .

 

Q5)Finally do brace the occasion with a small poem of yours .

Ans -My obsession with the dark,

Continues to grow

As dark as ebony

And as mysterious as the dark tunnel,

I feel surreal ;

It is almost impossible 

How is the negative so attractive
