Moral Values for Iterative Growth!
By Abhishek Haridasan
When life gives you lemons, ensure you carry some salt and jaggery! You will be able to make some soul-satisfying lemonade. The impressionable take here is, how will you know when to carry these condiments with you? How will your moral compass move in the right direction? What guidance will one need for this? And most importantly, how can this be inculcated in young minds?
Welcome to counselling for young kids that sets their morals in order, well before they become responsible citizens of the country. The word counselling for kids might make anyone react, and give a circular meaning to weirdness, however, it’s important to consider:
1. Moral teaching and values inculcation happens at a young age. There are chances this could fall in the priority order if not considered by the parents.
2. Shaping your children’s minds needs a specialist, and the parents’ complete investment of time and resources.
3. When young minds know their direction is ascertained, they use these learnings to get better.
4. A growing child will be inquisitive, and filling their growing minds with morals, best practices and life lessons will put them in good stead.
5. Remember, their lives will be governed by the actions one takes at an early age. Morals-based counselling will be apt for their progression and to identify positive patterns for growth.
Being a torchbearer for counselling can be challenging, however, when viewed with the power to bring change in young lives, one witnesses how swift learning and faster implementation become easy and seamless.
Take the support of a counsellor and let parents work closely for the holistic growth of their children.
Start young, begin empowering them with intent and watch good results become a norm!
