By Riddhima Sen

Public speaking refers to the skill of conversing with people around us. Conversing with people around us helps a lot in our personal development as well. Personal connections and interpersonal connections matter in daily life to a significant extent. We need to express our emotions on a daily range, and converse with people we hold close and dear. It is good, to have the ability to keep one’s emotions to oneself. However, it is imperative to vent out our emotions at times too, in order to preserve our mental well-being.

Mental well being constitutes the most of our psyche, after all.
Public speaking skills are often offered in the form of courses in modern times. Something which should be absolutely normal and as natural as breathing, needs to be inculcated in young individuals because of certain drastic changes in our lifestyle, followed by various other factors. Bullying and various factors, which compel people to suffer from depression and low self-esteem and confidence, destroy the naturally prevalent confidence within us all.

Public speaking skills are really crucial and quintessential in this age, since human communication has almost become a norm, that too, a healthy one. Young children, good at public speaking, flourish as strong leaders in the near future.
