With cases of rape being reported approximately every day, the security and safety of women has become concerning. With little children getting murdered and assaulted almost every day, the question regarding humanity has increased to a great extent. What exactly is the point behind a young child of twelve getting raped and killed? The society has a patriarchal perspective towards women, they are often considered to be objects. Objects which can be exploited to a great extent. The socio-political position of women in the society has definitely changed over the centuries. However, it is still not permanent as of now.
The recent case in Baruipur has stirred an out wave of fear and rage. No matter whatever political party comes to the rise, crimes mostly remain unaltered. Instilling fear in the mind of the criminals can contribute a lot to the process of reforming the society for better. The society has to change its values first of all, to further lead to something great. The incident in Bangladesh where the victim was brutally murdered shows the heinous nature of humanity. The problem never was the clothes , rather it was and will be the darkness present within human psych
