Exploring the Depths of Exposition: An Interview with Author Manaswita Bhattacharyya Mukhaty

- What initially sparked your passion for writing, and how did your favorite authors influence your literary journey?
Answer: Honestly, I just opened my social media handle and thought of stepping into the world of social media, going through it I came across so many young writers who influenced me a lot. So I scribbled, one of the quote and started getting views; thus the journey started for life long.
As I am so much keen into the expository writing, I find Tagore, Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, Paul Coelho through their various novels, poems and songs brought up the social life of the people so well and how to deal with the ups as well as the downs. I am just awe struck reading their writings.
2.Expository writing requires a deep understanding of subjects. Could you share your process for researching and crafting narratives that captivate readers?
Answer:Being a student of Sociology as well as a teacher of social science, I am always keen in various social issues, social, economic and political life. I go through various media links, books, whenever possible or better to say wherever possible, I interact with people to know the ground reality.
3.Your works often blend cultural motifs with universal themes. How do you strike a balance between cultural authenticity and relatability for a global audience?
Answer: I think so, I don’t do it purposefully but I am culturally so much inclined to my own culture and believe in my country’s values, it becomes easy for my craft as well as to blend so well with the universal culture.
4.Among your literary achievements, do you have a piece that holds a special place in your heart? If so, what inspired it?
Answer: A duo have a same place in my heart. One of my write up, ” Ram Ravan co- exist” and ” Education …Real..Reality” both have a special place.
People around me influenced the earlier writing, the later my profession influenced me.

5.In today’s fast-paced world, how do you navigate the challenges of maintaining authenticity and depth in your writing?
Answer: Maintaining authenticity is really a challenge in today’s world. People think and do so many things together and at the same time so its really difficult. What I do is, I don’t have any intention of imitating. I just put my own thoughts and ideas in my way. Thoughts and ideas may match but the way of crafting it remain unmatched.
Depth in writing can only be maintained by reading a lot, thats what I do.

6.What advice would you offer aspiring writers who wish to explore the realm of expository writing and connect with readers on a profound level?
Answer: Any writer or aspiring writers everyone should be a learner first, then read a lot, should write whatever they feel without hesitating what or how the reaction of the readers will be. As you write with evidence or example, your opinion can match with some or may not touch the hearts of many.
