The gaze, that left her hazed… By Abhishek Haridasan

She felt confident, and a lot empowered,
She believed in her life, she knew how she delivered!
She was the epitome of a woman, she wasn’t bewildered,
She left a trail of positivity, she never took a step back!
Then it began, the sinister gaze,
It started slowly, it became a maze!
She ignored it mostly, then it became a craze,
She had to deal with it, she was never short of a chase!
It became a menace, it started affecting her!
Her simple life, peppered by the madness around her!
She tested all possible solutions, but irritation overwhelmed her,
She shrugged it away, it returned like a rash on her!
The plight is common, the miscreant much more,
Her safety was paramount, her peace wasn’t like before!
Her strength was her friend, she remained calm at her core!
Her life would move on, she would fight the furore!
She didn’t back out, she fought with might!
She bared her soul, her eyes stared at a fight!
She shunned them away, her ideas took flight,
She wiped away the haze, she made every aspect right!
