Alcoholism : a future ??? – an interpretation

Alcoholism – where is it’s onset, is it genetics, but genetically it effects only few percentage then how one get addicted to it.
It boils down to one point – upbringing. A child needs a mother. Is it the mother who is responsible or is it the father? Do we see the trend with substance abuse and alcoholism with upbringing. Apart from other trends like, what men are upto the women counterparts. Is it justifiable? It’s almost like a trend with boys and men, being highly noticeable by the world after Nirbhaya case. Drink and drive is another major cause of accidents around the world. Therefore, in a country like Norway, there is extreme stringent action taken towards drink and drive cases.
We notice this a lot among boys or men usually. Being not gender biased it’s just a trend noticeable globally. Whom do we stilt this responsibility towards? Do we see a lot of separation of parents? Is it because daughters are taught to be earning to have their share of domination in the home? Is working equating to earning? Working 9-5 is good, earning can be done in our terms by the lady of the home. Is it resistance for women not working? It’s an infinite chain of arguments one can come up with. There comes the role of a mother which is followed even in Animal Kingdom by the female animals where the lady takes care of their offsprings while the male goes out hunting.
It needs an entire generation to understand the role of a mother. This can happen by men taking the role of a father and be righteous.
Another aspect is that the government regulations, which can help tremendously, like we have the Gujrat modal of a dry state. Today- It’s all intertwined, it’s all a mess now with drugs, alcohol and other substances easily available in a society currently. But why does that even happen? Why even the drug sellers and alcohol businesses choose to do such act not knowing the moral ground of it and following the consequences?
It’s important to know – we are human first and not animals, although being from the same animal knigdom. Morals, lessons, ethics, and above all – humanity should matter. When there is a market it will sell. When there is demand, there is a thought of profit always. Supply and demand, like in the business terms. But why is the demand even there. Is it because it is supplied and then there is a dependency of the demand.
Above all, it has to stop. What has happened is past- we are here to make future, future of our human generation – which means, health, morals, education, system and above all being a good human being. Respecting the mothers, especially from our previous generations, who sacrifice their soul, their life, their career, and their means of earning to make a child, thus – to make a Nation.
These are queries we all have to answer, answering gives reasoning, reasoning gives a greater thought for understanding that now it is enough and has to stop- stop now.
Let’s make a better society, a better move, a better life.
