Nation First, Always! – On Pahalgam Attack by Author Abhishek Haridasan
The nation feels vindicated. The nation has come under attack and pure soul citizens have borne the brunt. The recent news of turbulence in the Northern part of our country has left families devastated and torn through the peaceful fabric of the nation! One wonders why peace is such a rare commodity in a J&K, and why normal citizens are affected by such acts of cowardice.
I would like to emphasize that such acts to disturb peace in the valley have been on for decades and it was only recently that the world felt that normalcy has returned in the Northern Frontier.
However, it does look like the latest act is a reminder that we must never let our guard down in hostile areas and follow the rules and regulations that are set for such areas clouded by militancy and stone-pelting activities.
The hearts of a billion Indians go out to those who have lost their loved ones and we pray for the recovery of those who were injured during these ghastly attacks.
We are confident of what our Home Ministry, Prime Minister and National Security Forces will do to ensure the perpetrators are downed and justice is served to those who deserve it. Normalcy will return and the Switzerland of the East will bloom again!
God bless us, and may our lands be filled with happiness and smiles that represent the true spirit of the nation.
