Yogesh Arvind Puranik Honoured with the Author of the Year Award
Recognising a Literary Voice Bridging Ancient Wisdom and the Modern Mind
Author, poet, educationist and management leader Yogesh Arvind Puranik has been honoured with the Author of the Year Award, presented in collaboration with Interview Times and BB News, recognising his literary contributions and distinctive approach to storytelling and ideas.
A notable work in his literary journey is Decoding The Ramayana: An Ancient Blueprint for the Modern Mind. The book explores the Ramayana through historical, ethical, psychological and spiritual perspectives, inviting readers to reflect on the deeper meanings of its characters and their relevance to contemporary life. Rather than simply retelling the epic, Puranik offers an interpretive approach that connects its enduring themes with questions of consciousness, identity, attention and human nature.
Puranik’s wider body of work spans fiction, poetry, philosophy and reflective writing. This award recognises his contribution to literature and his effort to bring fresh perspectives to established narratives.
Through this honour, Interview Times and BB News celebrate Yogesh Arvind Puranik’s literary journey and his continuing engagement with ideas that connect India’s cultural heritage with contemporary thought.
