Author Rohit Shetty gets featured in National Cultural Conclave of Uttarpradesh

India a country known for its rich and varied heritage has a special place in world history for its culture.Its roots are quite strong and its mythology is famous across the world.Whether it be it’s history representing the God’s such as Shiva, Parvati,Ganesha and Kartikeya or Lord Krishna and Lord Lakshmi,the beliefs in its deep rooted culture knows no bounds.Hinduism is not the only religion which has its roots in India but there are various others such as Sikhism,Jainism,Buddhism and so on.

There are multiple aspects of culture when it comes to India.Unlike other countries there are almost 22 languages and various dialects spoken in India.Of these apart from Hindi and English there are various other languages such as Marathi,Tamil & Telugu which have its prominence.There are variety of cuisines which are famous all over the world.The naan and butter chicken are quite famous in the north but on the other side there are idlis,dosas and appam famous in the south of India.

There is no dearth in the number of festivals celebrated in India.There are interesting stories behind celebration of Holi,Dassera,Diwali and many other festivals.Holi is termed as the festival of colours whereas Diwali is known as the festival of lights.India is also known for its literary contributions as well and one of our renowned poet Rabindranath Tagore had been awarded with the Nobel prize for Literature.Bhagvad Gita is one such book which has its importance since ages.

As far as tourism in concerned India is home to many temples and spiritual locations.Goa is also a favourite destination for International Tourists.India is also famous for Bollywood as far as the cinema is concerned.The Taj Mahal has been existing since ages and is also a tourist spot as well.

I would try to elaborate more on India and its culture but words are short to explain the enormity of its rich heritage throughout history.I wish the readers to explore more of India by travelling to different cities and locations across India to actually connect with its roots.
