Aamir Ali has shared how his divorce from Sanjeeda Sheikh has deeply affected him, revealing that he is no longer in touch with their daughter, Ayra. The couple, once a prominent star pair in Indian television, separated after the pandemic and finalized their divorce in 2021. In a candid conversation with Bombay Times, Aamir expressed that he is ‘not in touch with anyone,’ including Sanjeeda and Ayra, adding that the situation is ‘complicated.’ He emphasized the importance of mutual respect and maintaining privacy, stating that neither he nor his ex-wife wanted to publicize their personal struggles. Despite public speculation, Aamir refrained from speaking negatively about his former partner, stating, “I can never talk badly about anyone I’ve been with.”

Aamir Ali has candidly shared his emotional journey following his divorce, revealing that he felt incapable of love during that time. Reflecting on his struggles, he said, “Somewhere deep down inside, I realised I was struggling with my heart. Sometimes everything seems normal, but you don’t realize what’s going on within.” He went on to explain that despite meeting many people, he would distance himself at the first sign of conflict, questioning his ability to love again. However, the actor found healing after meeting his current girlfriend, Ankita Kukreti, who helped him rediscover his emotions, saying, “I still have a heart.”
