Reclaim Your Life; Crush the Smoking Habit!
The very act of lighting a cigarette and placing it between your lips creates a cool factor, without the realization that one is a fool to fall into the trap!
It’s unfortunate to see how companies used to market cigarette smoking as an activity that men and women must indulge in, however, the possibility of it becoming a habit was never mentioned!

Companies that indulge in tobacco products have their coffers filled with the money that young men and women splurge on flavoured cigarettes, vapes and tobacco-laced products that are chewed or inhaled! At some point in time during our youthful days, we have all fallen into the trap of flipping a cigarette, lighting it with a matchstick or lighter and placing it with pizzazz on the sides of our lips; as we watch the world pass by and watch in awe!
In actuality, the awe that people display is more of a remorseful and bewildered look because, for years, medical companies have been informing us about the ills of smoking or chewing tobacco, but it’s fallen on deaf ears.
How can anyone kick themselves out of the habit?

A random Google search will inform us about the painful and hair-raising products that go into the making of a cigarette and despite the gory images on the packet, millions of people still purchase these ‘carcinogenic sticks’ and inhale the smoke to generate a ‘kick!’
There is hope though, but habitual smokers need to have great determination to let go of this societal ill. One can start by replacing cigarettes with nicotine patches or habit-reducing chewing gum.
For the extra-determined ones, it’s about picking up a day, believing in the spiritual beings that keep us sane and crushing every last bit of the cigarette packet purchased. And redoing your schedule!

It would also serve us well, to pick up a hobby and indulge in it, especially with the ability to empower others and encourage them to make use of their time wisely. Another way to let go of the smoking habit is to change your meal schedule and distance yourself from a company of individuals who laugh at the very mention of reclaiming your life.
After reading through this article, one would ask, how qualified I am to write about this. In all actuality, I have seen the lows of smoking and the highs of letting go of this activity which almost became a habit. It took a while, and distancing myself from the first and second-hand smoke was a challenge, but never count off determination and the opportunity to make your life better.
For youngsters and even those who have reached their 50s, nip this smoking activity from the bud and live a peaceful life. It’s possible, and you will thank yourself for choosing life over lingering smoke.
