Whenever we talk about freedom, the most basic idea that pops up in our mind is – Is freedom not a basic right? Any human being or animal who is born on earth has the right to freedom. To live freely, to breathe freely, to think freely. However, for our country, this freedom had to attained with the price of blood and a hefty price of young lives being lost. After almost decades of oppression and exploitation, Indians finally rose to fight for their freedom. The freedom struggle originally brewed strongly in areas like Bengal and Punjab, with young people raising their voices for the independence of the nation.
One such prominent young mind was Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. His contribution to the freedom struggle of India is truly undeniable. The formation of INA and the various disguises that he undertook in order to save his nation are evidence to how brilliant his mind was. The combination of patriotism and a brilliant mind is truly rare and unique. Freedom didn’t come overnight; it came at the price of blood and lives spent in neglect and disguise. His life went away in struggle and disguise, later on as Gumnaami Baba, the mysterious saint .
