Death of education
By Riddhima Sen
The current scenario in West Bengal spells great danger for wannabe teachers. Teachers guide the young minds of students for a better and brighter future. However, with twenty-six thousand teachers loosing out on their jobs, made the educational prospect weak on a fundamental base, at the root level. The qualification of the teachers teaching even at the basic level needs to be of proper standard, as well. As the level keeps on increasing gradually, it becomes way more difficult to not focus on the quality and kind of education being imbibed to the future generation, and how this shapes as responsible citizens for the future.
There have been consistent protests going on throughout the state since the unjust has happened. The areas of Salt Lake have been a witness to the protests which were going on till a few days ago. However, there are no more protests taking place right now. For the second time, the state has seen another massive failure in the deliverance of justice and equitable behaviour. The dissatisfaction of the people and teachers alike are dying away gradually. The same thing came into highlight during the R G Kar rape case as well.
