Promila is a Poet from Norway who writes in Hindi and the only Meitei Manipuri Hindi Poet from Norway. She is a keen lover of words. Words that do magic. Promila has been writing from a very young age and her eloquent writings has got many accolades and awards.Promila has written 2 books right now, “Mera to yeh mai bhi nahi” and “Ayushya” which is a great success till now. She has written few anthologies too, some under publications.Promila loves to create poetry with deep rooted meanings and literature. she loves to write about the philosophy of life and creation. Promila is living in Norway for about 20 yrs now and yet her heart writes for her Motherland, her “Janmabhoomi”.
Being a writer and Poet, she respects and love Norway at the same time which is her “Karmbhoomi” and she is indebted for both.Being a daughter of a Retired Indian Army Dad, and a teacher Mom, she is a proud mother, mother of 2 daughters and give all the credit of her writings to her husband who is a Doctor and Cancer Specialist in Norway. Due to his love for poetry too, he lets her pursue her dreams.
Promila is a keen writer and a full-time mother, with her interest in Philanthropy and she does it to her best. She is currently working on her subsequent upcoming books. Happy Reading.

Mother Earth gives us life. Life, in the form of Nature. We are living because we breathe, we eat, we survive, just because of the mother nature. The fossils, the natural elements, the precious metals, and in all this – the water, everything- comes from mother earth. We are dependent on this mother earth in every possible way. We should respect life and respect nature in return. The reason for “Life” is given by this mother nature.
We all know that all the civilizations from time immortal have settled nearby rivers and with the extinction of water, the civilization has extinct too. And that river is also a part of mother nature. The mere existence of human or any being is from this nature.
We know that in the harshest of the weather or natural condition there is some or the other kind of existence of life too, for example even in hot lava in volcano there are lives existing and even in the coldest of region of snow there are all kinds of life existence. The urge to live, the urge for living, the urge for life is beautiful, this is only possible because of this mother earth. That’s why this mother earth is beautiful. See the white snow, see the sand dunes mountains, see the rivers, see the green space, all is the form of mother nature and its even in the extreme of weather condition, it is beautiful. Beautiful, because it gives reason for life, it gives life, in one or the other form. Life is beautiful.
We human know how to exploit the nature and we do it in every possible form. The pollutions done by us is innumerable, we must act now, before it is too late. Nature must be preserved by us like our own mother. It is give and take relationship, like if we cut a tree we should plant more trees. In life giving is a beautiful nature. We should give also, and not just take from this nature.
Love mother earth as she loves us by giving all the possibilities. We all are a part of this soil, so we should preserve this soil, preserve plants, preserve animals, preserve every form of life.
Long live mother earth.
