Her journey is a testament to resilience and artistry, as she delves into profound themes, notably mental health, through her soul-stirring melodies. From electrifying performances on global platforms to garnering acclaim in national competitions, Misshty’s artistry knows no bounds. Today, we unravel her captivating narrative and delve into the depths of her acclaimed song, “Frozen.”

  1. Your song “Frozen” resonates deeply with audiences, touching upon the theme of mental health. What inspired you to delve into this subject matter?

Ans.  So what inspired me to write “Frozen” was my mental health, most of the time in my life I’ve felt that I have so many emotions and feelings running through my head but no one to express them, even when I tried to express them they where ignored away like it didn’t matter or where used against me at some point or simply made fun off, all these things made me numb a person who can’t express her feelings even if she wanted to, I’m sure many people in this world feel this way, they’ve isolated themselves and have become numb cause neither will anyone try to understand them nor they’ll be able to explain how they feel even if anyone wanted to understand them. So ” Frozen” is a way of me telling the world how I feel and how I’m not able to express my pain and emotions just like a frozen pond that has life beneath the freezing surface but can’t let it out as the ice is getting thicker and thicker with the cold atmosphere. The irony is that most of the people I know still don’t understand the concept of “Frozen” . They think it’s a love song or breakup song, which proves my point regarding “Frozen”.

  1. As a talented singer, lyricist, and composer, how do you infuse your personal experiences into your music?

Ans. All the songs I’ve written now have been inspired by my personal experiences, or they are inspired by topics where my interest lies, for example, as you know “Frozen” is about mental health and it is based on something that I feel, so it has my aspects in it, but “By My Side” and “EVERYWHERE” are inspired by topics which are rare and people don’t know about, it’s based on the topic of spiritual love, the concept where you know there is someone in this world who is the missing part of your puzzle someone with whom you are meant to be with, someone who is tied to you with a red thread. In totality, I love to learn about topics that are rare and not talked about mostly, and I try to make songs based on them, now for “Frozen” is also a topic that is not talked about or known by people too much, in psychological terms I say it is based on self-isolating behaviour but mentally, the person may talk normally, laugh casually around people. Still, no one knows they are all broken from the inside, they’ll laugh, smile, and giggle in front of others but the time they are alone is nothing same.

  1. You’ve graced prestigious platforms such as Sessions Live and participated in Open Mics. How have these experiences shaped your musical journey?

Ans. Firstly I’m grateful that I got to experience these opportunities, for a new artist these mean a lot to me. I’m grateful that I was an artist of sessions live. It was the first ever opportunity I’ve gotten to display my singing skills and it helped me boost my confidence singing live songs. I’m thankful for all the love I received from the audience of sessions live. The Open Mics are just the best. I enjoy the vibes there. It’s different singing in front of a screen and in front of people who are there to appreciate your art, getting appreciation from these wonderful people boosts my confidence and drive to put out my best work.

  1. Collaborating with producers from Mumbai and Netherlands sounds exciting. Can you share any insights into your current projects and collaborations?

Ans. Yeah! It is quite exciting for me, now to get projects from outside my locality, I’m really grateful that I’m getting to work with these amazing producers from Mumbai and the Netherlands and it really means a lot to me that they also like my work.

We are working on some cool topics to make it a jamming song, I can’t spill much of the tea, but I will say that the concepts of the songs are different than usual, we going for something new and fresh (high school crush concept) and dark and eerie with an (enchanting otherworldly type of concept).

  1. Winning the second position twice in national-level music competitions is commendable. How do you balance the demands of competition with your artistic expression?

Ans. Well, for me being better than anyone is never my priority, while in these competitions my only goal and focus was to be my best and to give my best, my only concern was to portray my work as beautifully as possible with my hint of style .
